Riccoboni, a book celebrating 50 years of successes

2014 was a very important year for Riccoboni: the company, with its headquarters in Parma, celebrated half a century of business. To celebrate this, it has publishes a book entitled “1964-2014, 50 years of successes”, launched today at the Ecomondo Fair in  Rimini. Ernesto, Marco and Angelo Riccoboni took part in the event as well as the President of the Foundation for Sustainable Development, Edo Ronchi, who wrote the preface to the book. A copy of the volume was also offered to the Minister for the Environment and Protection of the Territory and Sea, Gian Luca Galletti, who visited the company's stand.

1964-2014, 50 years of successes ” tells the story of a Parma company through the voice of its actors, those who founded the company and saw it grow, as well as from the point of view of the suppliers. Following a prologue by Roberto Cavallo, the book is made up of five chapters, each introduced by an interview which frames the historical period, starting with Ernesto Riccoboni, who founded the company in the now distant year of 1964. The players in this story tell of the transformation of the company's core business from road building to environmental intervention, with pioneering experiments through the 70s and 80s, the first reclamations, the birth of the Global Environmental Services and the projects abroad. In parallel, Riccoboni's story is narrated by a few employees and partners that over the last 50 years have experienced first hand the company's values, reliability and commitment in the environmental field. Closing each chapter, there is a brief paragraph on the technology of the decade demonstrating how this Parma company, over these last 50 years, has substantially contributed to technological development in the environmental field in Italy.

"Those who leaf through the pages will find the values we believe in: reliability, a wish to improve, our sense of responsibility, respect for people and care for the environment" - said Ernesto, Marco and Angelo Riccoboni during the presentation. Values which we have made our own since the start of our entrepreneurial adventure and which today our family promotes with the same commitment in Italy and across the world to render our environment more sustainable".
